Professional, positive dog training in Victoria BC

Danika is an amazing instructor. She takes the time to engage with each dog and owner and is very professional and knowledgeable. My puppy walked into the first class, shy and never normally approaching strangers, and ran up to Danika and stayed by her side, like she had known her for years! That is her magic! Danika makes everyone feel like they are heard and the star student of the class! I highly recommend Babydog lessons. We are so grateful and we have learned so much. We will be back for more lessons. Dusty, a 20 month old Coton de Tulear, was attacked by a dog at Island View. He became reactive after this and we needed help. We brought Aviva to help Dusty and ourselves and it was such a pleasure to observe Aviva's knowledge, insight and skill in helping with Dusty's problem. We all learned a lot and Dusty is well on his way to recovery because of Aviva. Thank you Aviva, it's been such a pleasure to have you involved and Dusty loved you immediately. You have special talents which are much appreciated.

We brought our puppy Lola to Level 1 Obedience class with Meg. She was an incredible instructor. She explained and demonstrated the training clearly and was fun and patient. She always checked in to see if we had questions and was also happy to answer questions outside the curriculum. When we had missed a class, she took the time to show us what we had missed. We learned a lot and were so impressed by how quickly our puppy learned each task. Taking the class with Meg helped build our confidence with training our puppy using positive reinforcement. We can’t wait to take her to Level 2!

We've been taking out puppy to BabyDog's socialization classes. Both the puppy and I learned a lot! We found Ruth to be very knowledgeable and helpful - enough so that we ended up registering for a private training session and an obedience class through BabyDog, both also taught by Ruth. Our puppy has learned a ton and so have we. Throughout the entire process Ruth has been wonderful, and we can't recommend her and BabyDog enough!

Love, love, love, how much I learned from taking my pup to BabyDog. The group socialization at Bosley’s allowed my pup to play with other pups of different breeds and temperaments while teaching us humans how to understand ‘dog’ body language. It also made for a relaxing day (big nap after play time)!! The group training with Aviva and Ruth in Brentwood and pack walks on Sundays taught me that every time we are in a different situation it is yet another learning opportunity for both of us! We learned a lot in an enjoyable, positive way. We also did some basic obedience with Dave at Tomey K9 Services which taught us how important it is to be consistent and that repetition (with good treats) helps our pups to understand what we are asking of them. The one thing that I will always remember is that Dave said “Our dogs want to please us” !

We took our puppy Pitbull to babydog puppy socialization classes.The incredible rewards our pup and ourselves took back from them is fantastic.Our pup is a very happy well grounded pup who is growing so well cause of the classes and info I have received.Thanks so very much.Great work keep it up:) Zeus,Ray and Bridget :)

I have been taking my puppy Daisy to baby dog training classes for a couple months and they are amazing! I have learned so much, and Daisy is much better trained since we started! Daisy recently had an accident and we were not able to go to classes for a while, and the trainers at baby dog made some great suggestions to prevent her from getting too bored, and extended our time to attend the training classes. If you have a puppy, I highly recommend baby dog training and socialization classes!
